Geotechnical Instrumentation Installation and Monitoring

Geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring are essential for the successful completion of a project. Many parameters can be monitored to assess the performance of geotechnical systems in place, including soil deformations, vertical and lateral ground movements, stresses on structural elements, vibration levels, groundwater pressure and levels, etc. Instrumentations used for monitoring include the piezometer, inclinometer, water standpipes, settlement markers, optical surveys, strain gauges, etc.

As an independent third party, Dutch Cone offers both instrumentation installation (including planning for the strategic positioning of the instruments) and long-term monitoring of the data.
